The Spokane Homeless Coalition is made up of more than 1500 individuals representing more than 200 agencies, meal sites, churches and ministries in the Greater Spokane area, all committed to serving those in need throughout our community. The Spokane Homeless Coalition emerged from a shared vision and determination two decades ago, a testament to the commitment of individuals united by the goal of addressing homelessness in our community. Founded 20 years ago, the coalition's inception was marked by a collective recognition of the pressing need for comprehensive solutions to combat homelessness. Driven by compassion and a sense of social responsibility, a group of dedicated advocates, community leaders, and concerned citizens came together to form the Coalition. Their shared belief in creating a more inclusive and supportive Spokane laid the foundation for an organization that has since become a beacon of hope, resilience, and collaborative action in the ongoing fight against homelessness. Through two decades of unwavering commitment, the Spokane Homeless Coalition continues to evolve, adapt, and make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
Directions
From I-90:
- Head west on I-90 W.
- Take exit 280A for US-2 W/US-395 N toward Newport/Colville.
- Merge onto US-2 W/US-395 N.
- Continue to follow US-2 W.
- Turn left onto W Wellesley Ave.
- Turn right onto N Maple St.
- Turn left onto W Garland Ave.
- The destination (723 W Garland Ave, Spokane, WA 99205) will be on your left.
From Hwy 395:
- Head south on US-395 S.
- Take the exit toward W Garland Ave.
- Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Garland Ave E and merge onto W Garland Ave.
- Continue on W Garland Ave, and the destination (723 W Garland Ave) will be on your right.
