He is the current longest standing members of the coalition and serves on the leadership team as the person bringing the longevity and history. Before the Gathering House, he spent many years serving at the church on the corner of 2nd and Division where he and his wife created a community, weekly meal for street people.  Their site served as a major hub for other agencies to communicate and coordinate with the homeless population, creating many helpful major changes. Rob got involved with the coalition in 2009 to learn more about helping this underprivileged group and grew in his own knowledge and understanding of the how the systems work in our city. He is the  author of the book “Lessons From a Church in Zombie Land” a humorous and thought-provoking memoir of his years pastoring a church full of homeless street people.
